16th National Conference at GianJyoti Institute of Management and Technology

GianJyoti Institute of Management and Technology organized ‘16^th National Conference on Recent Trends and Development in Management and Information Technology’ i.e. “GJ-NatConMITE-2019” at its campus in Phase-2, Mohali today. Dr.Suresh Kumar Chadha, Former Chairman of University Business School of Panjab University, was the Chief Guest and Key Note Speaker on the occasion. Shri. J.S.Bedi, Chairman,GianJyotiInstitute of Management and Technology, presided over the event.

The day started by seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati and lighting of the lamp.

Professor S.K.Chadha shared his experiences and talk about recent trends in the research field. He motivated the research scholars to contribute towards the society by doing authentic and real research work. He asked the researchers to contribute in value system of society more professionally. He linked the today’s world with Shri Guru Nanak Devji time and his preaching “KiratKaro, VandChhako, SimranKaro”. He appreciated the efforts of Management, Staff and Students of GJIMT for organizing the conference at such a high level.

The day was marked with two technical sessions, where around 30 papers were discussed by eminent speakers and scholars.

The Technical Sessions of the Conference proceedings were chaired by learned and renowned Academicians namely Professor A.K.Vashisht and Professor B.B.Goyal from University Business School of Panjab University.

The researchers spoke on the varied topics of interest in Management & Information Technology including E-Learning, Green Accounting, GST, Taxation, Smart Phone usage, e-wallets, emotional intelligence, Work life balance and many more.

Mr. J.S.Bedi, Chairman, GianJyoti Group while speaking on the occasion said that the objective of this conference is to understand the emerging trends in Management and Information Technology. GJ-NatConMITE–2019aims at providing an opportunity to the researchers and academicians in the areas of Management and Information Technology, he added.Mr. J.S.Bedi congratulated the Researchers for presenting their research work at such a great platform and further encouraged them to contribute in research and innovation for growth of nation as a whole.
