18th International Conference GJ-IntConMITE 2024: Leadership in the Age of Disruption

The 18th International Conference (GJ-IntConMITE 2024), held virtually at GJIMT, witnessed an inspiring array of thought-provoking presentations and discussions under the theme “Leadership in the Age of Disruption.” The conference brought together academia, industry experts, and professionals from across India for an enriching exchange of ideas on the evolving dynamics of leadership in the modern era.

The keynote address was delivered by the distinguished Dr. Yanki Hartijasti, Associate Professor, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia. Dr. Hartijasti, renowned for her expertise in leadership and strategic management, provided valuable insights into how leaders can navigate the complexities of a disrupted business environment. Her thought leadership set the tone for the entire conference, as she explored the importance of adaptive strategies in cultivating resilient leaders for the future.

Mr. J.S. Bedi, Chairman of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) and Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director of GJIMT, also attended the conference, contributing to the success of the event. Both underscored the significance of fostering leadership abilities that align with innovation and technological advancements in a world constantly faced with disruption.

Over 20 innovative presentations were shared by speakers and participants from institutions and industries nationwide, offering diverse perspectives on the challenges and opportunities faced by modern leaders. In her closing remarks, Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director of GJIMT, announced the institution’s upcoming 21st National Conference (GJ-NatConMITE 2025), which will take place on June 6, 2025 on the theme “India’s Economic Evolution: Balancing Global Competition, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth”.
