GianJyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Phase 2, Mohali, celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm on its expansive campus.
The event was honoured by the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. J.S. Bedi, Chairman of the GianJyoti Group of Institutions. Mr. Bedi officially inaugurated the celebrations by unfurling the national flag, and the gathering stood in reverent attention for the national anthem, setting a patriotic tone for the day.
The celebrations featured a range of heartfelt tributes, beginning with a stirring patriotic song performed by the NSS volunteers. The NCC cadets also played a significant role, presenting a skit that paid homage to the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. Staff and students further enriched the occasion with soulful renditions of patriotic songs.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. AneetBedi, Director of GJIMT. Dr. Bedi expressed her gratitude to all participants and attendees, highlighting the importance of remembering the sacrifices of our forefathers and inspiring everyone to contribute towards the nation’s progress and prosperity.
