Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology (GJIMT) hosted a specialized seminar on “Organizing References Using Mendeley” on September 2, 2019, in the institute’s auditorium. Led by Dr. Neha Gulati, Assistant Professor at UBS, Panjab University, the event welcomed 109 participants, including final-year MBA and BBA students, along with faculty members. The seminar was coordinated by Dr. Bushra and aimed to empower attendees with practical knowledge of managing references efficiently using the Mendeley software.
Dr. Gulati offered an in-depth introduction to Mendeley, demonstrating its relevance in academic research and writing. She guided participants through the process of setting up accounts, importing references, and managing citations effectively. The seminar also showcased Mendeley’s integration with word processing software, allowing students to generate citations and bibliographies seamlessly within their documents.
