GJIMT Blood Donation Camp in Collaboration with Lions Club and PGIMER Chandigarh

On 24th September 2019, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), in association with Lions Club Mohali and PGIMER Chandigarh, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on its campus. The event saw overwhelming participation from GJIMT students, staff members, and volunteers from the local community, demonstrating a collective commitment to saving lives.

With 63 units of blood collected, the camp marked a significant contribution to community health initiatives. The medical team from PGIMER Chandigarh ensured that the donation process was conducted safely and efficiently, following all necessary protocols. Lions Club Mohali played an essential role in spreading awareness about the importance of blood donation, highlighting how every unit of blood can make a life-saving difference.

At the end of the event, each donor was presented with a Blood Donor Certificate as a token of appreciation for their selfless act. The camp not only promoted the spirit of giving but also reinforced GJIMT’s commitment to social responsibility and community service.
