Data Sharing and Access Policy
The Gyan Management Journal promotes the transparency and accessibility of research data in accordance with the principles of Open Science.
Data Availability
- Authors are encouraged to share all relevant research data supporting the results of their published work. This may include raw data, supplementary materials, or code used in analysis.
- Data should be made available through a reputable data repository or directly upon reasonable request from other researchers, subject to any ethical or legal restrictions.
- For qualitative research, the availability of detailed methods, interview protocols, or other materials should be included in the submission or shared openly if appropriate.
Data Sharing Best Practices
- Authors should clearly state where and how the data can be accessed in the manuscript, preferably providing DOI links to repositories if available.
- In cases where data sharing is not possible (e.g., due to privacy concerns), authors should explain why it is not feasible and, where applicable, provide a summary or partial data that can still support the publication’s conclusions.
Confidentiality and Data Security
- Authors must ensure that the privacy and confidentiality of research participants are maintained at all stages of the data collection and sharing process.
- Data should be stored and shared in compliance with applicable laws and regulations concerning data protection, such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) for European Union-based research.
