On March 9, 2024, the GJIMT Grounds resonated with the energy and enthusiasm of students and faculty as GJIMT celebrated Women’s Day with the theme Nari Shakti, in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra (Ministry of Youth Affairs). This event highlighted the strength, resilience, and potential of women, reinforcing the importance of gender equality and empowerment.
The celebration was graced by Sh. Paramjeet Singh, Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Punjab, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT, who lent their inspiring presence to the occasion. The day’s activities included a spirited 500-meter run, where GJIMT’s girl students actively participated, symbolizing the power of women (Nari Shakti) and their vital contribution to society.
