Seminar on Global Business Opportunities in Trinidad & Tobago at GJIMT

The Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, in collaboration with the Centre for International Trade and Industry (CITI), organized a seminar on “Global Business Opportunities in Trinidad & Tobago” on 1st May 2004. The event took place at the GJIMT campus and aimed to explore avenues for economic, educational, and cultural cooperation between India and Trinidad & Tobago.

The seminar was attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. J.S. Bedi (Chairman, GJIMT), Mrs. Rajneet Bedi (Principal, GJPS), and Mr. Gurmmeet Singh Bhatia (President, CITI). The event also saw the participation of Mr. P.J. Singh (General Secretary, CITI), who played a key role in facilitating the discussions.

The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Persad, High Commissioner of Trinidad & Tobago, who provided a comprehensive overview of the country’s business potential. He highlighted the strong cultural ties between the two nations, emphasizing the opportunities for collaboration in trade, industry, education, and culture.

The seminar concluded with a call to strengthen international partnerships and explore untapped business opportunities between India and Trinidad & Tobago.
