Establishment of the Students Affairs Council at GJIMT

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) proudly fosters student leadership and self-governance through the establishment of the Students Affairs Council. This council is an essential platform for students to actively manage and participate in various affairs and activities within the institute. Democratically elected positions such as President, Secretary, and Treasurer ensure that student representation is at the heart of decision-making.

In addition to the core council, several dedicated committees cater to diverse interests, including the Cultural Committee, Sports Committee, Marketing Forum, I.T. Forum, Finance Forum, HR Forum, and the Hostel Committee. Each committee operates with the guidance of a Faculty Advisor, empowering students to organize, plan, and execute events and initiatives.

Furthermore, the Placement Committee, coordinated by Mr. N.K. Maheshwari, involves faculty members as Advisors and five selected students as Executive Members. This collaborative structure encourages students to take ownership of their educational experience, fostering leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Through the Students Affairs Council, GJIMT cultivates a dynamic environment where students are prepared for future challenges, promoting a culture of responsibility, creativity, and active participation in campus life.
