Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) successfully conducted a six-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Research Methodology Using Statistical Techniques: Application in Business Management & IT” from July 2 to July 7, 2012. The program was funded by AICTE.
The FDP was held under the mentorship of Sh. J.S. Bedi, Chairman of Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions, and coordinated by Dr. Vimal K. Agarwal.
Dr. Aneet, Program Advisor, provided strategic guidance for the event. The objective of the FDP was to equip participants with advanced research methodologies and statistical tools essential for impactful research in business management and IT.
The program commenced with a keynote address by Dr. Suresh Chadha, a renowned professor from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Over six days, participants engaged in intensive learning sessions conducted by five highly distinguished resource persons from academia and industry, who shared their expertise on various facets of research methodology. The FDP was attended by 48 participants from institutions across the region, who benefitted from hands-on training and interactive discussions aimed at enhancing their research capabilities.
In his concluding remarks, Sh. J.S. Bedi emphasized the importance of integrating statistical techniques into research to derive meaningful insights and contribute to the academic and professional fields. He reaffirmed GJIMT’s commitment to fostering excellence in research and education.
