Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) hosted an engaging and motivational virtual seminar titled “How to Step on the Ladder of Government Jobs,” featuring Ms. Vaishali Wadhwa, a distinguished PCS officer and an accomplished alumna of the institute. The event, organized in collaboration with the ICC and Rotaract Club under the guidance of Mr. Harish Premi, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 152 students across MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, and BCom (Hons) programs.
Ms. Wadhwa shared her inspiring journey to achieving success in the government sector, offering valuable insights into exam preparation, time management, and overcoming obstacles. She emphasized the importance of resilience, perseverance, and maintaining focus, while encouraging students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
The seminar provided actionable strategies for tackling competitive exams, including tips on creating effective study schedules, understanding the selection process, and managing stress. A significant portion of the session was dedicated to empowering female students, addressing unique challenges women face in pursuing government careers, and motivating them to aim for leadership roles in public service.
An interactive Q&A session allowed students to pose questions about balancing studies, managing responsibilities, and staying motivated. Ms. Wadhwa’s relatable and practical advice left participants feeling inspired and better equipped to navigate their career journeys.
The seminar not only deepened students’ understanding of government job opportunities but also instilled confidence and a sense of purpose. Ms. Wadhwa’s presence as a GJIMT alumna strengthened the bond between students and the institution, showcasing the heights of success achievable through dedication and hard work.
