District Youth Convention

Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan organized District Youth Convention at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology. The theme of the convention was ‘BetiBachaoBetiPadao’ and ‘Say no to Drugs’. Major General Dilawar Singh, Director General,  NehruYuva Kendra Sangathan was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group presided over the function.

The main objective of this convention was to sensitize the youth on current Policies and Schemes of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and certain special programmes in coordination and cooperation with other ministries. The main focus of these programs is on developing values of good citizenship, thinking and behaving in secular ways, skill development and helping youth to adopt a productive and organized behavior.
