National Conference

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology organized ‘16 th  National Conference on Recent Trends and Development in Management and Information Technology’ i.e. “GJ-NatConMITE-2019” at its campus. Dr. Suresh Kumar Chadha, Former Chairman of University Business School of Panjab University, Chandigarh was the chief guest on the occasion. Shri.J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology presided over the event.

Scholars from Punjabi University; Shri Guru Granth Sahib World University; Chitkara University; IKG Punjab Technical University; DAV College, Chandigarh; SGGSC-26, Chandigarh; PCTE Group of Institutions, Ludhiana; UBS, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara; UIAMS, Panjab University, GNA University, Kurukshetra University, S.D. College, Moga presented the papers. The Technical Sessions of the Conference proceedings were chaired by learned and renowned Academicians namely Professor A.K.Vashisht and Professor B.B.Goyal from University Business School of Panjab University.

The researchers spoke on the varied topics of interest in Management & Information Technology including E-Learning, Green Accounting, GST, Taxation, Smart Phone usage, e-wallets, emotional intelligence, Work life balance and many more.

The day was marked with two technical sessions, where around 30 papers were discussed by eminent speakers and scholars and the proceedings of the Research Conference were published in a UGC Care Listed Journal.
