Lohri Festival

Lohri, the cheerful festival of Punjab, which brings good luck, happiness and prosperity was celebrated by GJIMT with ardour and verve.

The chill in the air set the festive mood for Lohri and the celebrations commenced with a Bonfire lighted by the Respected Chairman, Mr. J.S Bedi and Principal, Ms. Ranjeet Bedi of Gian Jyoti Group. The atmosphere lit up with a golden hue.

The Sound of the dhol filled the air and the whole fraternity danced to its beats and enjoyed the rhythm of Lohri songs. The joy of celebration emerged with a gracious dance performance by the faculty and staff. The sweetness of Rewari, crunchiness of rice puffed corn and other munchies further boosted the celebration.
