Diwali Fest ‘Utsav’ Celebrated at Gjimt Mohali

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Mohali organized Diwali Fest ‘Utsav’ at its campus to mark the celebration of festival of lights. Various competitions like Rangoli Making, Mehndi, Diwali Decoration etc. were organized on this occasion in which students participated with full fervor and enthusiasm. Students also enjoyed participating in games and fun activities. Conveying his Diwali message, Sh. J. S. Bedi, Chairman, GJIMT said that celebrations are part of our culture and uplifts human spirit and consciousness. He motivated the students to respect our values and preserve our culture in order to attain true happiness and success. Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT said Diwali is a festival which symbolizes the win of light over darkness, wisdom over ignorance and good over evil. Thus, every one of us must inculcate the values for making our life positive and progressive. She congratulated all the winners and participants for participating in various events. Winners of various competitions were felicitated and students also enjoyed musical dance treats at the end of the event.
