IKG PTU-TiE Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology organized Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp today at its campus in Phase-2 Mohali in collaboration with IKG PTU-TiE Chandigarh. Mr. Gaurav Vasishta, CEO, Pindersson Financial Management was the key note speaker on the occasion. Mr. J.S.Bedi, Chairman Gian Jyoti group presided over the event.

Mr. Gaurav Vasishta, CEO, Pindersson Financial Management shared his success story with students. He said, we should always follow our dreams and we should try to convert those dreams to reality. Mr. Vasistha motivated the students to become an entrepreneur in their lives and convert India from a nation of job seekers to a nation of job creators.

Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology talked to the students about the TAP (TiE and PTU) Business Plan Competition which is a joint initiative of TiE Chandigarh & PTU and an initiative to convert idea into actual businesses. This is an opportunity for the students of all the affiliated colleges of PTU to present their business ideas in front of the panel of entrepreneurs from TiE and academia from PTU, Dr. Bedi added.

Dr. Bedi further said that shortlisted teams will be provided an opportunity to get mentoring & support from successful entrepreneurs of the region. In the finale TiE will give cash prizes over Rs. 1, 00,000 to the top 6 teams.

Over 150 students and faculty of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology attended the IKG PTU-TiE Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp.

In the last Dr. Bedi extended vote of thanks to the speaker for sharing their valuable thoughts on entrepreneurship and motivating the students to be a job creator and not job seeker.
