Alma Reconnect- February Edition

The “Alma Reconnect” event at GJIMT was an enlightening session where alumni returned to share their career journeys, providing valuable lessons and motivation for current students. The first speaker, Mr. Gursimran Singh, an MBA student from the batch of 2022-2024, now working as a Marketing Specialist at Grazitti Interactive, reflected on his transition from academic learning to the professional world. He explained how his passion for marketing, coupled with consistent hard work and a drive for excellence, helped him secure a key position in a competitive field. Mr. Gursimran highlighted how staying updated with industry trends and continually learning was crucial to his growth and success in his marketing career.

Next, Mr. Krishan Murari, a BCA student from the batch of 2021-2024 and currently a Full Stack Developer at Vineforce IT Service Pvt. Ltd., shared his experiences in the tech world. His journey focused on the challenges he faced in mastering both front-end and back-end technologies, stressing the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in the tech field. He also touched on the significance of effective teamwork and communication in the development process, as it was essential to delivering successful projects in a fast-paced work environment.

The third speaker, Mr. Anurag Kumar, a BBA student from the 2021-2024 batch, now working as a Brand Ambassador and Acting Store Operations Manager at Samsung (Quesscorp), offered a unique perspective from the retail industry. He spoke about his dual role in managing store operations and brand representation, emphasizing the importance of strong leadership and customer engagement. His experience taught him how vital it is to maintain operational efficiency while building meaningful customer relationships, and he underscored the value of hard work and attention to detail in achieving success in the retail industry.

Collectively, all three speakers shared essential insights on the importance of hard work, continuous learning, and the development of key soft skills like leadership, communication, and teamwork. Their stories of success served as a powerful reminder for students to remain dedicated to their goals and pursue their careers with a mindset of continuous improvement and growth.
