In October 2001, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) successfully conducted a blood donation camp in partnership with the Blood Bank Society of PGI, Chandigarh, continuing the legacy started in October 2000. This significant event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and even the parents of our students, who came forward to contribute generously.
At GJIMT, we believe that true education extends beyond academic knowledge, encompassing the development of value-based leadership skills. This blood donation drive was a testament to the institute’s commitment to inculcating social responsibility and civic values in our students. The overwhelming support from parents, alongside students and teachers, demonstrated a shared vision for community service and highlighted the strong social fabric of the GJIMT family.
The camp was highly successful, with a total of 123 units of blood collected, contributing to the life-saving efforts of PGI’s Blood Bank. This initiative reflects GJIMT’s deep involvement in social welfare and its ongoing efforts to organize and popularize activities that benefit society at large. The blood donation camp is a proud tradition at GJIMT, embodying our commitment to holistic education and community well-being.
