Cleanliness Drive by Rotaract Club, GJIMT

The Rotaract Club of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, in collaboration with Rotaract Club Mohali, organized a Cleanliness Drive titled “Clean Mohali and Green Mohali” on 28th September 2014. The drive took place in the Phase 5 market of Mohali and aimed to promote hygiene and environmental responsibility.

Rotaract students of GJIMT actively participated by sweeping the market area and collecting waste materials, which were disposed of in designated dustbins. The initiative was designed to create public awareness about the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces and neighborhoods.

The drive received an overwhelming response from shopkeepers and market visitors, who appreciated the students’ efforts in keeping the community clean. The event successfully highlighted the importance of hygiene, cleanliness, and social responsibility among citizens, reinforcing the commitment of GJIMT students to community welfare.
