Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) hosted an expert session on menstrual health, aiming to educate and empower female students with essential knowledge and practical solutions for managing their well-being. Coordinated by Ms. Neha Sharma under the guidance of the Sports Club, the session witnessed the participation of 107 students from BBA, BCA, and BCom programs.
The session featured expert speakers who addressed key issues related to menstrual health, dispelling myths and misconceptions while providing evidence-based guidance. With a focus on holistic well-being, the discussion covered topics such as proper nutrition, hygiene practices, and mental health support. Participants engaged actively during an open Q&A session, sharing their concerns and gaining valuable insights from the speakers.
Interactive and informative, the session created a supportive space for students to learn and discuss menstrual health openly. Educational resources were also distributed to enhance participants’ understanding of the subject.
This impactful initiative reaffirmed GJIMT’s commitment to fostering a culture of awareness, inclusivity, and holistic well-being among its students. The event marked a significant step toward breaking stigmas and empowering young women to take charge of their health with confidence and knowledge.
