Flag Day of India

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology celebrated Flag Day of India is also known as Armed Forces Day at its campus in Phase-2, Mohali. The celebration was dedicated to the welfare of the Indian Armed Forces Personnel. Students did a fund raising activity during the celebration and collected a substantial amount by fund raising activity.

Students and Staff of GJIMT Mohali participated in the celebrations. Mr. J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group presided over the function. Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology also joined the students for the celebration.

Mr. J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group while motivating the students said that this celebration is aimed to collect the funds from the public throughout the India just by selling the Indian special colorful flags, labels and stickers, and at Gian Jyoti we are able to collect a substantial amount by promoting our National Flag in between the students and the staff.

Mr. Bedi further said that the people serving in the Navy, Army and Air Force of India never think about their lives while protecting the country. So, this Flag Day celebration in India brings a lot of hope in the lives of those families who had sacrificed their precious lives for the better tomorrow of the country, Mr. Bedi Added.
