Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) came alive with creativity, intellect, and innovation as it hosted the much-anticipated Annual Gian Byte Event on February 23, 2024. The vibrant event, which drew over 750 students from more than 25 Colleges across Punjab and Haryana, served as a culmination of months of preparation, showcasing an array of new-age literary and IT excellence.
The event kicked off with the Safar storytelling competition, where participants captivated the audience with enchanting tales that ranged from whimsical fantasies to poignant real-life anecdotes. Each story, brimming with artistry and creativity, transported the listeners to realms of imagination, proving that storytelling remains a powerful form of expression.
Minds were sharpened during the Brainvita quiz competition, a thrilling test of knowledge and quick thinking. Participants demonstrated their intellect as they faced off in this exhilarating battle of wits, leaving the audience in awe of their mental agility.
In the Marketing Mavericks competition, creativity and strategy took center stage. Teams were tasked with conceptualizing and executing innovative media campaigns, showcasing their ability to craft captivating narratives and engage audiences in the digital age. Through strategic planning and imaginative execution, the competitors delivered campaigns that were both fresh and impactful.
The CHARCHA Declamation contest brought powerful voices to the forefront, as participants delivered impassioned speeches on topics related to “Human Values Crossroads.” The GJIMT auditorium resonated with the sound of thoughtful discourse, as speakers eloquently navigated issues of morality, ethics, and humanity.
Beyond these literary and intellectual feats, Gian Byte ‘24 offered a range of fun-filled educational activities.
The event concluded with a closing ceremony, where Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director of GJIMT, applauded the remarkable achievements of the participants and extended warm congratulations to the winners. Mr. J.S.
