Under the inspiring leadership of Colonel Shri Kundan Sharma, Commanding Officer of the 78 Uttarakhand Battalion, along with dedicated NCC Officers from GJIMT Mohali, our NCC cadets showcased their strength and determination at the National Trekking Camp in Uttarakhand.
The camp, set against the challenging terrains of Uttarakhand, saw GJIMT’s NCC contingent embark on a grueling 40 km trek, demonstrating outstanding resilience and teamwork. This experience not only tested their physical endurance but also highlighted their ability to thrive under extreme conditions.
In addition to their trekking feats, our cadets made their mark in cultural programs, bringing pride to the institution with their discipline and talent. A special shoutout to GJIMT NCC Officer Mr. Nitish Kumar, who was honored for his dedication, and to our cadets who clinched victories in photography, tug-of-war, and earned the title of Best-Disciplined Cadets in General Duties.
At GJIMT, the NCC program is committed to instilling leadership, discipline, and a spirit of service in our students. This recent achievement underscores our cadets’ readiness to take on challenges and their dedication to serving the nation with pride. Jai Hind!
