Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT) organized Voter Awareness Day to emphasize the significance of voting in a democratic society. The event was spearheaded by the NSS Club, in collaboration with the Election Literacy Club, with the aim of educating and inspiring students to actively participate in the electoral process.
The initiative focused on raising awareness about the importance of voting, electoral rights, and the role of youth in strengthening democracy. Students were encouraged to become responsible citizens by not only exercising their voting rights but also motivating others to do the same.
The event featured interactive sessions, discussions, and awareness campaigns, where students engaged in thought-provoking conversations about voter responsibility and the power of individual votes in shaping the nation’s future. Volunteers also took an oath to uphold democratic values and promote voter awareness within their communities.
Through this initiative, GJIMT reaffirmed its commitment to civic responsibility, encouraging young minds to contribute to the democratic process. The event successfully instilled a sense of duty, empowerment, and awareness, ensuring that students understand the impact of their participation in elections.
