GJIMT Student Shines at PTU Inter-College Swimming Championship

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Phase-2, Mohali, has once again made its mark, not only in academics and placements but also in sports. Kirti Rana, an MBA first-year student, created history at the PTU Inter-College Swimming Tournament held in Ropar by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, with an exceptional performance.

Kirti brought laurels to the institute by bagging a total of five medals on the very first day of the championship. Her achievements include:

• Gold Medal in 50m Breaststroke
• Two Silver Medals in 50m and 100m Butterfly Stroke
• Two Bronze Medals in 100m Breaststroke and 100m Freestyle

Notably, Kirti was the only female participant to win five medals in the tournament, showcasing her determination, skill, and competitive spirit.

This outstanding performance reflects GJIMT’s commitment to nurturing talent and excellence beyond academics, making it a proud moment for the entire institute.
