Independence Day Celebration at GJIMT, 2003

The 57th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali, on 15th August 2003. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Mr. J.S. Bedi, Chairman of GJIMT, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and patriotic songs by the students.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Bedi encouraged students to cultivate a strong national spirit and contribute actively to national causes. He urged them to take a pledge to eradicate corruption, highlighting it as a major challenge facing Indian society.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets, snacks, and tea, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie among the students and staff. This memorable occasion reinforced the importance of patriotism and collective responsibility in building a better nation.
