Admission Process @ GJIMT


  • The applicant has to fill an online form after talking to the counsellor and get the eligibility check for the chosen course.
  • For the Eligibility Check, applicant must submit the soft form of the following documents.
    - General Information
    - Contact Information
    - Passport/Nationality Id Information
    - Qualification Exam Information
    - Programme Information

After the approval during the eligibility check , GJIMT will send the Letter of Intent to the applicant on his/her registered email Id.

On receiving “The Letter of Intent” , the student must deposit the Registration fees of $ 500 and send the transaction proof via email.

After receiving Registration Fee Transaction Receipt and complete application form , GJIMT will be issuing the "The letter of Acceptance" which will be sent on the registered email Id of the applicant

On receiving the Letter of Acceptance , the candidate should apply for Student Study Visa.

The applicant shall then transfer the complete course fee for first semester as mentioned before the start of the session and email the payment transaction proof.

International Student Services


GJIMT will ensure that your arrival , stay and departure is smooth and to ensure the same we provide the following services to our new international students.

VISA Assistance
  • In order to Study at GJIMT, all international students must procure an Indian Student Visa.
  • Student must apply for the visa in person or by post to the High Commission of India based in their country.
  • Make sure to mention the name of the Institute while applying for the visa as that is further mentioned on the visa.
  • The Visa endorsed on the name of GJIMT, can not be used for employment etc.
  • After arriving at GJIMT, get your visa verified at the International Student Cell and submit all the required documents.
  • The student must ensure the validity of his study visa throughout his study tenure at GJIMT.
  • In case student has to apply for visa extension the same must be done before visa expires. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that visa should be applied well in advance and time.
Pick-Up Facility from Airport on Arrival

GJIMT provides complimentary pick up facility to its new international students, interested students can avail this complimentary pick up facility. The facility is available on booking atleast 1 week in advance. The facility is available from following Airports.

Pre Arrival Prerequisites
  • Obtaining Visa from Indian Embassy/ High Commission.
  • Ensuring Medical Check Up and required vaccinations before leaving your country.
  • Ensure you carry your medical prescription and medicines with you before leaving your country.
  • Register with GJIMT for the pick service from the Airport at least two weeks prior to arrival and provide the complete details of flight.
  • Make sure you bring the letter of admission issued by GJIMT.
  • Carry the originals, copies of your certificates/degrees and 10-15 passport size photographs.
  • Carry the fee receipt
  • Travellers Cheques can be used for carrying g money , these can be easily redeemed.
  • Carry an adapter for your mobile or laptop keeping in mind the Electric standard in India works on 240 V.
  • Make sure you carry the right clothes for yourself as the Temperature in India ranges between 32 – 45 degree Celsius during summers and 5 – 18 degree Celsius during winters.
Post Arrival Information
  • GJIMT arranges for pick-up facility. To avail this facility a student must request and register for the service at least two weeks prior to arrival and provide the complete details of flight.
  • As per the rule at Customs , the foreign students in India make an oral baggage declaration of the possession of baggage and foreign currency as soon as they land in India.
  • Make sure you obtain the Currency Declaration Form from the Customs before leaving the airport
  • The Clearance at the airport is obtained via red channel(Dutiable good) or green channel (no possession of dutiable goods)
  • After arriving at GJIMT make sure you register and complete all the formalities at the campus.
  • Registration with FRRO All International students who have come to study in India need to get themselves in The Foreigner’s Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days of arrival in India (not applicable in the case of Bhutanese and Nepalese students). The University’s International Office helps and guides the students in the registration.

Guidance for Returning Back Home
  • We suggest after the declaration of final university examination , to get the
  • Air tickets, at a good price make the bookings in advance.
  • Obtain a No Objection Certificate and no dues certificate from GJIMT
  • The student should complete the customs’ clearance form (obtaining from the Income Tax Office) after closing his bank account.
  • Obtain a written permission or ’no objection’ to leave India from FRRO in the FRRO registration booklet.
  • Every foreigner who is about to depart finally from India must surrender his Certificate of Registration either to the Registration Officer of the place where he is registered or of the place from where he plans to depart or to the Immigration Officer at the Port / Check post of exit from India.
