The 17th National Conference – GJ NatConMITE 2020 on “Rediscover Practices in the Epoch of Covid-19” was held on December 16, 2020, organized by Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali. This was the first fully online National Conference panel discussion organized by any educational institute in North India.
The event featured two phases: a Panel Discussion on “Indian Economy – Sailing through the Covid-19”, with keynote speakers Prof. Santosh Rangnekar (IIT Roorkee) and Dr. Arup Mitra (Institute of Economic Growth), and 13 research presentations from scholars across India. Discussions centered on the impact of Covid-19 on the Indian economy, employment issues, and the knowledge economy’s role in driving growth.

Dr. Buta Singh, Dean Academics and International Collaborations, IKG PTU, Jalandhar, was the chief guest, with Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT, presiding over the event.
