National Science Day

GJIMT in collaboration with Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST), National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) and Department of Science and Technology (DST), GoI celebrated National Science Day on the theme ‘Integrated Approach in Science & Technology for Sustainable future’. Various competitions like Poster Making, On the spot Painting, Quiz etc. were organized on this occasion in which students participated with full fervor and enthusiasm. Conveying his message, Sh. J. S. Bedi, Chairman, GJIMT said that the basic purpose of technology is provide more comfort and ease to human life. But such comfort and ease should not come at the cost of damage to our ecology and environment and hence technological progress must aim at sustainable growth.
