Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology (GJIMT) proudly conducted an NCC recruitment drive, designed to select the most promising first-year students for enrollment in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) for the 2022-2025 term. The event saw an impressive turnout, with 70 enthusiastic students competing for just 18 highly sought-after seats in the NCC program, showcasing their passion, energy, and eagerness to embrace the values of discipline, leadership, and patriotism.
In the initial stages of the selection, 25 students were shortlisted for the final round. Under the meticulous guidance of the NCC coordinator and senior cadets, the recruitment process adhered to the standards set by NCC-13 PB (1) Coy Ropar, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation. Each candidate was assessed based on a range of criteria, including height, weight, physical endurance, aptitude, and personal interview performance. This rigorous process was designed not only to test physical fitness but also to gauge each student’s mental fortitude and commitment to the NCC’s ethos.
The recruitment drive was an opportunity for students to demonstrate their potential and commitment to personal growth through NCC training. Through this program, GJIMT aims to instill qualities of leadership, discipline, and resilience in its students, preparing them to serve as responsible citizens and future leaders.
We congratulate all candidates for their enthusiasm and dedication and look forward to the incredible journey that awaits the selected cadets. GJIMT remains committed to supporting the holistic development of its students, fostering a spirit of service and discipline through the NCC program.
