One Week Faculty Development Programme on “Outcome-Based Education 1.O” was successfully conducted from May 20 to 24, 2024, organized by Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Mohali.
The programme aimed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and implement outcome-based education (OBE) systems. OBE, a student-centered learning model, focuses on measuring student performance through the demonstration of specific learning outcomes. Over five days, participants explored core OBE principles, effective assessment strategies, and how to integrate OBE frameworks into curriculum planning.
