The students from GJIMT had the privilege of attending the CII Northern Regional Healthcare Excellence Conclave at the CII Sector 31, NR Headquarters, Chandigarh. The conclave brought together prominent healthcare professionals, policymakers, industry leaders, and thought leaders from across northern India, providing a platform for insightful discussions on the future of the healthcare sector.

A key highlight of the session was the Panel Discussion, which focused on three critical topics:

  • Affordability and Quality – Imperative for a Strong Healthcare Ecosystem
  • Enhancing Efficiency of Healthcare Verticals for Better Patient Outcomes
  • Innovation in Healthcare Operations: Vision 2047

The conclave centered around finding innovative strategies and sharing best practices to advance the healthcare ecosystem in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India). Discussions emphasized the importance of affordability, quality, and sustainability in healthcare, with a particular focus on improving patient outcomes and optimizing healthcare operations.

A significant portion of the event was dedicated to addressing the challenge of financing healthcare. Experts discussed innovative funding models such as health insurance schemes, venture capital for health-tech startups, and international collaborations aimed at ensuring healthcare becomes more accessible and sustainable for all sectors of society.

Attending this conclave was an incredibly enriching experience for our students, significantly broadening our understanding of healthcare systems both in India and globally. The insights gained from the discussions will be valuable in shaping our future endeavors in healthcare management and innovation, contributing to the ongoing transformation towards a more advanced and sustainable healthcare ecosystem.
