Pratibha 04 – Annual Intellectual Meet at GJIMT

The annual intellectual meet ‘Pratibha ’04’ was organized by Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Phase-2, Mohali on 17th February 2004, from 9:45 AM to 5:30 PM. The event served as a platform for management and computer professionals to test their mettle and showcase their skills.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Ms. Amar Deepika, General Manager-HR, PTL Mohali. In her inaugural address, she encouraged the students to develop knowledge, skills, and a professional attitude to meet the challenges of the corporate world. She sensitized them to be fully prepared for the demands of the industry.

Prof. Dr. B.B. Tandon, Director of GJIMT, in his vote of thanks, motivated students to seize the opportunity to enhance their skill sets. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of various institutions across Punjab and Chandigarh offering courses such as MBA, MCA, B.Tech, B.Com, BCA, and BBA.

A range of competitions, including the IT Quiz, Business Quiz, and Debate, were held. Notable personalities like Mr. Sushil Dutta, GM-Marketing, Dainik Bhaskar, and Prof. Bhupinder Singh, Senior Professor at Govt. College, Sec-11, judged the events. The response to the competitions was overwhelming, and a written preliminary examination had to be conducted to shortlist teams for the finals.

The judges expressed their satisfaction with the quality and enthusiasm displayed by the participants. The competitions were closely contested, making it challenging to decide the winners and runners-up.

‘Pratibha ’04’ proved to be a grand success, reflecting the dedication and talent of the participants and reinforcing GJIMT’s commitment to academic and professional excellence.
