GJIMT recently hosted one of the year’s most impactful events—the Red Run Marathon—held in collaboration with PSACS and NACO. The occasion was honored by the presence of our distinguished chief guest, Dr. Balbir Singh, who addressed the students, participants, and faculty. Dr. Singh highlighted the objectives of the Intensified Campaign, which included the flag-off of the Mobile ICTC Van, the Red Run Marathon, and the unveiling of awareness posters. The campaign’s primary goal was to elevate awareness among the youth about AIDS and its profound societal impact.
The 5 km race saw enthusiastic participation from over 100 runners, who demonstrated their commitment to the cause through their energetic involvement and symbolic attire. Their dedication played a crucial role in amplifying the message of the campaign and fostering a greater understanding of the issues surrounding AIDS.
