The Orientation Ceremony for the Inauguration of the new Rotaract Club at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology was held on 16 th September, 2023 in the auditorium. The event aimed to introduce the club objectives, goals, and its role in fostering leadership and community service among the student body. The event commenced with an official inauguration ceremony that included lighting of the lamp by distinguished guests, including college faculty, Rotary Club representatives, and student leaders. This formal opening set the tone for the ceremony. The ceremony began with a warm welcome address of all the dignitaries.Mr. Mohit Singla, Rotary Club Governor, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the significance of community service, leadership, and fellowship, which lie at the core of Rotary and Rotaract. He commended GJIMT for its commitment to nurturing young leaders and encouraged students to actively engage in service projects that positively impact society. Mr. Chinmay Abbhi, District Rotary Club Secretary, also shared valuable insights into the global reach and influence of Rotary International. To engage attendees, an interactive session was conducted to answer questions and address concerns related to Rotaract membership and activities. This allowed students to clarify their doubts and gain a better understanding of the club. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director GJIMT expressed gratitude to the esteemed guests and shared the institution commitment to empowering students with the values of service and leadership through the Rotaract Club.The Orientation Ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks to all the guests, faculty, and students who attended the event and with the national anthem played after the event as a culture of GJIMT.
