Promoting Equity and Inclusion at GJIMT

The SC/ST Committee has been established to support the welfare and rights of SC/ST students and staff. The committee is committed to fostering an equitable and inclusive environment where individuals from marginalized communities feel valued and empowered.

Aims and Objectives

• 1. Promoting Awareness: To educate the campus community about the rights and issues concerning SC/ST individuals, fostering understanding and inclusion.
• 2. Supporting Welfare: To ensure the welfare of SC/ST students and staff by addressing their concerns and creating a supportive environment.
• 3. Addressing Grievances: To provide a formal mechanism for resolving issues faced by SC/ST individuals, ensuring confidentiality and fairness.
• 4. Organizing Programs: To plan and execute events and initiatives that celebrate diversity and promote inclusivity.
• 5. Building Equity: To work towards eliminating discrimination and creating equal opportunities for all students and staff, irrespective of their backgrounds.
