The students are taught and given opportunities for experiential learning regarding various aspects of modern business environment like business ethics, corporate values, Indian ethos, life skills etc. GJIMT offers it’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management Information System, Business Analytics and Operations Management.
Marketing helps students develop their critical skills, detail-oriented thinking, and strong analytical skills. An MBA in Marketing focuses on learning aspects of Advertising and promotion management, consumer behaviour, brand management and Services Marketing. Students who hope to join this program will develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, a great convincing style, leadership skills, analytical skills, creative thinking and team work skills.
Human Resources helps in running and functioning of any organisation. An MBA in human resource management (HRM) trains the students as future HR managers well prepared in hiring employees and then helping them develop their skills to help scale the organization. The HRM also makes students conversant with workforce regulation, performance assessment systems, compensation strategy, motivational tasks, safety, health and welfare assessment.
An MBA in finance specialization prepares students for senior and managerial profiles in financial sector. The course focuses on providing students the essential knowledge about corporate finance and financial markets necessary for obtaining and succeeding in careers in Corporate finance, Security analysis and portfolio management, Investment and commercial banking and Risk management. A solid foundation in finance undoubtedly contributes to effective decision-making across the major business functions.
MBA in Management Information System gives students in-depth knowledge concerning modern information technologies. Students will get to learn about the impact of information and communication technologies on business and society. It prepares students to deal with security intensive environments. This will help them to learn and innovate in creating top-line growth and differentiation opportunities based on data-driven business intelligence.
An MBA in Operations management is aimed at making students conversant with the planning, creation and management of resource capabilities for a business. Students are trained to understand the logistics and supply chain management. The course emphasises on understanding he Supply chain , makes student understand the flow of raw materials, finished goods, information and services to deliver maximum value to the consumer.
Business Analytics is a rapidly evolving field which focuses on innovative application of data across all the sectors. MBA in Business Analytics emphasises on data analysis and predictive modelling to generate insights that support and complement managerial decision making. Students are given knowledge about Operations research, Machine learning, Statistics, Computer science, Data Mining/Data Science and its applicability in business domains.
