Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), in collaboration with the Mohali Industries Association (TQM Foundation), hosted a three-day Total Quality Management (TQM) program aimed at empowering industrial houses with advanced quality practices. Representatives from esteemed companies such as Vardhman, Trident, Max India, and Winsome Group actively participated.
The program was inaugurated by S. Gurmeet Singh, President of the Mohali Industries Association, who emphasized the significance of fostering quality initiatives in the region. Industry stalwarts, including Dr. Suresh Lulla of Qimpro Consultants and Mr. Sachit Jain, Executive Director of Vardhman Group, shared transformative insights into implementing TQM tools to enhance organizational efficiency.
Sh. Chandra Mohan, former Managing Director of Punjab Tractors Ltd., encouraged participants to adopt a culture of quality and teamwork to address competitive challenges. Mr. Munish Bagrodia, Managing Director of Winsome Group, highlighted the exceptional benefits his organization achieved through TQM, noting the exponential value created from its implementation.
The workshop, leveraging case-study simulations, provided practical solutions to inter-departmental challenges while fostering productivity in a competitive business environment. The TQM Foundation aims to bridge industry and academia, promoting a culture of quality and excellence among industrialists and academicians.
