World Ozone Day

GianJyoti Institute of Management and Technology,Mohali celebrated World Ozone Day on 18th September 2023 with great enthusiasm. This day is observed globally on September 16th each year to raise awareness about the importance of the Earth’s ozone layer and the need to protect it. On this day at GianJyoti students were informed about the depletion of the Ozone Layer, they were made aware of protective measures to stop the depletion of the Ozone Layer and also how we can save our environment from Pollution.

The event concluded with students, teachers, and staff taking a pledge to continue their efforts in preserving the ozone layer and reducing their carbon footprint. The celebrations at Gian Jyoti College not only educated the participants about the importance of the ozone layer but also motivated them to be responsible stewards of the environment
